FAQs
Questions people ask before launching a lost-pet campaign.
If your pet is missing now, start your campaign first. You can review these answers while your alert is running.
What am I paying for with a campaign?
You are paying for a local awareness campaign built around your pet’s last-seen location. Your budget determines how broad local visibility can be over the campaign window, with the strongest intensity concentrated early.
How is this different from posting in neighborhood groups myself?
Manual posting is still valuable, but it can be slow and inconsistent across channels. Our service gives you one guided setup flow and focused local distribution, so you can run paid awareness and manual outreach in parallel.
Can you guarantee my pet will be found?
No. No service can guarantee a reunion. We focus on improving local visibility quickly, which can improve your odds of getting sightings and community help.
How fast should I launch a campaign?
As soon as possible. Early visibility is critical when a trail is fresh. We recommend launching quickly, then continuing local shelter calls, flyers, and neighborhood checks.
What information should I prepare before starting?
Have clear photos, your pet name, type, color, size, and the last-seen location. This allows faster setup and helps people nearby recognize your pet quickly.
How does the map and budget slider work?
The slider is a planning tool that shows directional estimates for local radius and visibility. Higher budgets generally support broader local reach. Estimates vary by location and platform conditions.
What happens after I pay?
Your campaign details are saved in your account, payment is confirmed securely through Stripe, and your campaign is queued for local awareness based on your selected budget level.
Do I still need to do offline search steps?
Yes. We strongly recommend combining campaign visibility with shelter outreach, vet notifications, neighborhood checks, and posters. A multi-channel search is usually strongest.
How can I contact support?
Use the contact form on the Contact page or email info@yourpetfinders.com. If your pet is currently missing, launch your campaign first and contact support for follow-up questions.
